Mrs. Ramona Mae Crispen, 79, Macy, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away at 2:25 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at her home.

In La Crosse, Wis., on Aug. 28, 1937, Ramona Mae Phillips was born. She was the cherished daughter of William and Ruby Burns Phillips.

On April 21, 1956, also in La Crosse, Ramona married the love of her life, Mr. Fredrick Dean Crispen. Together they shared 48 years of life's adventures. From their union came two daughters and three sons.

Left to cherish the memory of Ramona are two daughters, Louise Kaiser and husband William "Bill," and Judy Jones and husband Kenny, all of Macy; three sons, Steven Crispen, Rochester, Rodney Crispen, Akron, and Michael Crispen, Logansport; 14 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren with another on the way; a brother, Ronald Phillips and wife Donna Mae, La Crosse, Wis.; a special friend and Bible buddy, Marilyn Peters, Rochester; the nurses and aides from Guardian Angel; and several nieces and nephews.

Ramona was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fredrick, in 2004; her parents; a sister, Donna Mae Grimes; two brothers, Donald Phillips and Jimmy Frauenkron; and her canine, "Baby Shablue 1st of Dozer," a keeshond.

A celebration of the life of Mrs. Ramona M. Crispen will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester. Friends may visit with her family from 4 p.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at a later date in the Fulton Cemetery.
